What does victim protection mean?
I try to lift some weight of your shoulders and deal with offenders, insurances as well as the respective authorities. Together, we compile the legally relevant facts of the case and after that I give you an estimation of the amount of damages you can ask for. I take part in negotiations as well as extrajudicial activities and – if that step is required – during court proceedings.
The fees that arise for my commission are either part of your claim for damages or will be covered by the state. Normally, you will not be required to cover any of my costs yourself.

What is the representation of the joint plaintiff?
If you need support during the criminal proceedings, where you might be called as a witness, I will be at your side.
I present you with all the options, including going to court as a joint plaintiff. After all possibilities have been presented to you, we can discuss which model is suited best for you.

Can an adhesive procedure be considered?
In some cases, the code of criminal procedure law allows for a combination of the criminal proceedings with the civil claim (regarding damages). This so-called adhesive procedure does save money as well as time. I will gladly provide detailed information to you in a counselling session.
